Max Click, age 91, of Nixa, passed away Monday, December 1, 2020. He was born February 16, 1929 in Salyards, Kansas the son of Elbridge and Margaret (Foster) Click. On June 12, 1954 he and Norma Jean Simpson were united in marriage. He grew up in Miller, Missouri, and spent many years in Kansas City, Missouri. Max proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, stationed in Japan.
Max attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Nixa. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed sports of all kinds. He especially liked being with his family and friends
Survivors include: His wife of 66 years, Norma Click; two sons, Brett Click and wife Sheila of Nixa, and Bruce Click of Kansas City; two grandchildren, Kristen and Brian Click; three step-grandchildren and their spouses, Megan and Ryan Tobin, Morgan and Austin Miller, and Macy and Patrick Taylor; four great-grandchildren, Anders Miller, Liza Miller, Brooks Tobin, and Brodie Tobin; a sister, Irene Courter; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Donna Lue Click, Jay Click, Owen Click, Annie Skolaut, Bill Click, and his parents.
A Memorial Service for Max will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 18th at Aldersgate Unite Methodist Church in Nixa, MO.
