Mary I. Wester

Mary I. Wester, age 85 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Monday, October 24, 2016. She was born April 30, 1931 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the daughter of Frederick J. and Francis Irene Fuchs. Mary was united in marriage to Clarence Wester who preceded her in death on April 6, 1991. Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering for the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and the Senior Center in Springfield. She enjoyed making ceramics, going to garage sales and doing needlepoint. Survivors include: a daughter, Betty Coffman of Springfield; a son, William "Bill" Wester and wife Angela of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren, William Daniel Coffman, James Eugene Jones, J.D. Jones, Brian Jones, Patrick Jones and Jonathan Wester; great grandchildren, Spring Jones and Sarah Jones; sisters, Rosalita Trawl, Sharon and Ellen; and brothers, Raymond John Fuchs, Edward Fuchs and Leo Fuchs. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughters, Dorothy Scott and Mary Ann Wester. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri with Pastor Jeremy Hahn officiating. Burial will follow in Panther Valley Cemetery, near Fordland. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
