Mary Siler, age 90 of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013. She was born July 20, 1923 in Lubbock, Texas, the daughter of Jess and Cordia (Mitchell) Beaty.
Mary worked as a real estate agent until her retirement at age 65 and was a member of the Million Dollar Sales Club. She was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, Springfield.
Survivors include: her children, Patsy Jackson, Harold Cobb and John Cobb; two stepdaughters, Lois Flippin and Carol Rusk; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Buddy and Kimmie.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Wayne Cobb; her second husband, Theodore Siler; an infant grandson, James Cobb; and her sister, Beulah Collins.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Brandon Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Friday, in the funeral home.
