Mary Katherine Robirds, age 76 of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015. She was born February 20, 1938 in Calico Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Charlie and Debora (McNeil) Walker.
Mary was a graduate of Gainesville High School. On February 22, 1958 she married Elvin "Dutch" Robirds, who preceded her in death in 2001.
Mary graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a beautician before owning and operating Craftline Cabinets with her husband.
Mary enjoyed gardening and flowers of all kinds, especially roses. She attended Southside Church of Christ.
Survivors include: two sons, Neal Robirds and wife Carolyn, Spokane, and Clifford Robirds and wife Susan, Rogersville; nine grandchildren, Mason, Jesse, Lily, Crystal, Lindsay, Andrew, Jordan, Aaron and Brandon; three great grandchildren, Jaden, Isaac and Gavin; and a brother, Bobby Walker and wife Nancy,
Gainsville; and a brother, James Walker and wife Lois, West Plains.
In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Irene; and three brothers, Walter, Charles and Sid.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Gary Mitchener officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 in the funeral home.
