On May 30, 2024, the world said farewell to a remarkable soul, Mary Frances (Hall) Smith, at the age of 64 in Kimberling City, previously of Ozark. Mary's journey began on September 24, 1959, in Elgin, Illinois, born to Jerry and Marie (Beaudreau) Hall.
In 1991, Mary found everlasting love in Jeff Smith. Her passion for nursing filled her days with purpose and joy. From her time at Family Pharmacy in Ozark to her retirement from Springfield Nephrology Associates, Mary touched countless lives with her care and compassion.
Beyond her career, Mary found retirement happiness at the lake, surrounded by nature's beauty. Boating adventures, culinary creations, and hosting gatherings with loved ones brought her immense joy. The melodies of music always accompanied her moments of serenity.
Mary leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by her adoring family: her beloved husband Jeff Smith of Kimberling City; her dear children Cole Smith of Sarasota, Florida, Erin Smith of St. Louis, and Anna Capra of Nixa; a precious granddaughter, Frances Capra of Nixa; as well as her siblings Jeri Broyles of Camdenton, Jim Hall and wife Jan of Port Richie, Florida, Greg Hall and wife Ruby of Algonquin, Illinois.
She now reunites with her parents in eternal peace.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4th at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a touching Celebration of Life service at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Dr. Wade Bridges. Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
May Mary's kindness and spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
