Mary Louise Crandell

Mary Louise Crandell, age 81, of Nixa, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. She was born March 16, 1935 in Harlington, Texas, the daughter of Carroll and Lois (Lawton) Sissell. Mary was a member of Nixa First Assembly. Embroidery was her past time. Before retirement Mary worked as a restaurant cook. Survivors include: A son, Carroll Vester Crandell and wife Malae of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren, Shenandoah, Cheyenne, Saraialii, Vaasa, Tauasi, Samson and Carol; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Bonnie and Aaron Pruett of Seymour, Sonny and Glenda Sissell of Nixa, Martha and Charles Stone of Chetopa, KS, and James and Myra Sissell of Nixa; an aunt, Lois Lawton of Louisville, KY; nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie; a son, Rickey Dean Crandell; a brother, John Carroll Sissell; and her parents. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 21, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Brandon Hukill officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Thursday until service time on Thursday. Friends and family may come to the funeral home for viewing from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday. Burial will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 22, in Savanna Cemetery, Savanna, Oklahoma.
