Mary Louise Brown

Mary Louise (Shaw) Brown, age 71 of Ozark, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 after a short, hard fought battle with leukemia. Mary was born March 3, 1946 to Charles and Doris (Vennes) Shaw. She is survived by husband Edwin Brown of Ozark; two children, Michael Brown and wife Karrie of Springfield, and Debbie Yake and husband Travis of Ozark; four beautiful grandchildren Rhianon Brown, Sarah Yake, Samantha Brown, and Cole Yake; her sister, Connie Freeman and husband Gary of Sarcoxie; a brother Danny Shaw and wife Jean of Sarcoxie; as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brother Glen Shaw. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Mary was a Master Gardener, and she enjoyed quilting in the homes of her friends. She worked several years as the head of the HR Department for O'Reilly Auto Parts. A visitation will be at 11:00 AM Thursday February 22, 2018 followed by a funeral service at noon at The Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, Mo. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
