Mark Joseph Irwin, age 62, of Ozark, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield Missouri surrounded by family. He was born October 8, 1954 to Fred and Angela Irwin (Ricker) in Orange, California. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, car shows, buying, repairing, and selling lawn mowers/weed eaters and fishing. He was also always asking how everyone's cars were doing. He was our family mechanic and enjoyed keeping us all on the road safe and sound. He and his wife, Peggy met in 1993 and were married October 2, 1999 in West Plains Missouri. As a younger man, Mark worked for Knotts Berry Farm in California. Later, he worked as a diesel mechanic for the Los Angeles School District in California, Matco Truck Company in Clarksville, Arkansas and Road Systems in Searcy, Arkansas. In his 50's he worked for Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri and Walmart in Ozark, Missouri.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Angela, his first wife Martha, who gave him his first son, his oldest brother, Fred, a brother in law, Louie and two grandchildren Marty Joseph Jr. and Jessica Dawn.
Survivors include: His wife Peggy, his oldest son, Marty and wife Ariel, a son, Michael, two grandchildren, Orin and Adelyn, and a daughter, Angela. Survivors also include four brothers; Chris, Tom, Alan, and Larry and seven sisters; Cathy, Maryann, Theresa, Susan, Sharon, Linda, and Nancy. And lastly a host of several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Bubbling Brook in Crane, Missouri on September 23, 2017 at 2 pm. Final disposition was cremation.
