Gladys Marie McMullin, age 98, of Springfield, Missouri, died on Feruary 4, 2018. She was born July 15, 1919, near Reed Springs, Missouri, the daughter of James and Gertie Rantz.
Marie was a homemaker and was also employed for many years by the Gospel Publishing House in Springfield, Missouri, until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of the Assemblies of God faith and attended church as long as she was able. She was a resident of the caring community at The Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Springfield, MO, for many years, then finally at the Ozark Nursing and Care Center in Ozark, MO.
Marie was preceded in death by her first husband, Dick Eisenhour, and by her second husband, Stanley McMullin, and also by her parents James and Gertie Rantz, siblings Nellie Rantz, Scelbert Rantz, Clell Rantz, Irene Emerson, and Maxine Hedrick.
Marie is survived by her siblings Willard Rantz of Nixa, Leon Rantz of Battlefield and his wife Bonnie, and Donnie Rantz of Reed Springs and his wife Sue. She is also survived by her son and his wife, Gary and Kay Eisenhower of Marblehead, Massachusetts, three granddaughters, Kristin Nash of Spotsylvania, VA, Abbey Eisenhower and her husband Philip Groth of Somerville, MA, and Beth Eisenhower and her husband Langford Davidson of Medford, MA, one great-granddaughter, Kaden Moore, and three great-grandsons, Henry Eisenhower Groth, Felix Eisenhower Groth, and Logan Eisenhower Davidson. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to remember and celebrate Marie's life will be scheduled for a later date.
