Marguerite Jean "Margie" Klapp, age 92 of Ozark, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016. She was born August 18, 1924 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Isaac Smith and Frankie Verna (Pennington) Brown.
On December 3, 1942 Margie was united in marriage to Albert Klapp, who preceded her in death.
Margie was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Isaac Smith Brown and Forrest Brown; and three sisters, Florence Ellen Brown, Beatrice Ivy and Virginia Redner.
Margie was a member of Riverside Road Church of Christ. She was a homemaker. Margie enjoyed being with her family, working puzzles and caring for her flowers.
Survivors include: her children, Gary Klapp of Buffalo and Marlene Hall and husband Walter, Sr. of Galena; five grandchildren, Tonya Sisco, Marla Cunningham, Carla Cunningham, Walter Hall, Jr. and William Hall; 11 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Elder Dwain Stoops officiating. Burial will follow in Aurora Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. immediately before the funeral in the funeral home.
