Margaret Ellen Fox

            Margaret Ellen Fox, age 86 of Ozark, passed from this world on April 3, 2023.  She was born August 22, 1936 in Hartville, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Gourley) Davis.

            Margaret was married to Ray Dean Fox for 56 years before his passing on February 25, 2010.

            Margaret enjoyed interior decorating, collecting antiques and going to swap meets with her husband Ray.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and had a great love for God and God’s family.  Margaret had a quiet impact on her church family and all she met.  She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Ozark.

Survivors include: three sons, Danny Fox and wife Mary of Rogersville, Doug Fox and wife Robin of Ozark, and Brad Fox and wife Cathy of Ozark;  a son in law, Don Burks of Ozark; eight grandchildren, Amy Richerson and husband Donald, James Fox and wife Samantha, Dustin Burks and wife Nicole, Stephen Fox and wife Kathrine, Lindsay Wilson and husband Brent, Tyler Fox and wife Hannah, Matthew Fox and wife Clarey, and Zachary Fox; great grandchildren, Carter Richerson and fiancé Katie Mincks, Connor Richerson and fiancé Liz Manuel, Mason Burks, Liam Wilson, Eleanor Wilson, Micah Fox, Clara Fox, Jase Fox, Emily Fox, Callen Fox and Kieran Fox; a brother, Robert Davis and wife Linda of Republic; and a sister, Alice Lawrence and husband David of Nashville.

            Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a daughter, Debbie Burks.

            A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Southside Church of Christ in Ozark, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Southside Church of Christ in Ozark.
