Margaret Bownan

Margaret Leona Bowman, age 92, of Springfield passed away Friday, August 5, 2016.She was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Born September 30th, 1923 to Ralph & Ida Baine. She married Joseph (Joe) Sherbo in Jan. 1945. They had a son Robert (Bob) July 7th 1946. The family moved to California in March of 1949 and had a daughter, JoAnn, in 1950. Joe lost his life in an automobile accident in April of 1958. Margaret and children moved to Shelby NE and lived there for 5 years then Margaret and daughter returned to Downey, California. She met and married "Woody" Bowman in 1966. She loved to play cards, read and keep company with her friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, JoAnn, in 1982, her husband, Woody, in 2002. She is survived by her son, Bob and family, 2 grandsons James and Daniel (Jim & Dan), 2 great granddaughters Jane & Beth. Also a step grandson Mark Bowman of Oxnard, California. Cremation under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
