Mable E. Raney age 96 of Sparta, went to be with her Lord Monday, January 02, 2017. Mable was born in Hope Arkansas to Earl & Eva LaRonte on August, 14, 1920, the youngest of six children.
At the age of six months her family moved to Clinton, Missouri where she lived on the family farm until she moved to Oregon where she graduated from high school in Turner, Oregon and remained there for several years before returning to Missouri. Mable was married to Jim Raney on October 3, 1942. To this union was born two daughters, Joyce Rogers-Coker & Regina Larson-Woodard.
Mable was preceded in death by her husband on July 31, 1999, her mother and father, four sisters, one brother, a great grandson, Tyler Rogers, two sons-in-law, Jerry Rogers & Chuck Larson.
Mable is survived by her two daughters; Joyce, her husband Lonnie of Sparta, Regina, her husband Rick of Nixa, four grandsons, Phillip Rogers, wife Paula of Nixa, Kerry Rogers, wife Michelle, Sparta, Tod Rogers, wife Lesa, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Chad Larson, wife, Carrie of Warrensburg, Missouri, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mable was a long standing member of Southside Church of Christ in Ozark. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. www.adamsfuneralhome.net
