M. Sue Holt

M. Sue Holt, age 68, of Oldfield, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Friday, March 13, 2015. She was born October 23, 1946 in Galena, MO, the daughter of Emmit and Eura Esther (Donaghue) Eby. On February 28, 1964 she and Larry B. Holt were united in marriage. During her working career Sue was employed by Hagale Garment Factory and Fasco Industries. She enjoyed playing softball in her younger days, and coached her daughter's softball teams. A fishing trip was one of Sue's favorite things to do. She is survived by her husband, Larry; five children, James Holt and wife Melissa of Ava, Rhonda Haden and husband Steve of Ava, Carmella Holt of Bolivar, Charlotte Brown of Oldfield, and Shannon Holt of Oldfield; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Mike Eby; two sisters, Pat Jones and Mary Eby; nieces and nephews; and many good friends. Her parents preceded her in death as well as two brothers, Bill and Gene, and two sisters, Ines and Una. A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 17, in Old Boston Cemetery, Oldfield. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, March 16, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
