Lyle Dale "Butch" Tiffany

Lyle Dale "Butch" Tiffany, age 70 of Nixa, Missouri passed away February 16, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.

Butch was born on January 11, 1952, in Ottawa, Illinois to the late Dale and Thelma (Bennett) Tiffany. He graduated in 1970 from Cornell High School, after high school he attended Nashville Auto Diesel College. He loved classic cars. He traveled far and near attending car shows. 

 On March 26, 1971, Butch was united in marriage to Mary Ann Horning. To this union two children were born.

In 1976, Butch was hired by the Pontiac, Illinois Police Department. He attended the police academy in Champagne, Illinois. He served with the Pontiac Police Department until 1985. In August of 1985, Butch and Mary Ann moved to Bullhead City Arizona. He served with the Bullhead Police Department until retirement 2010. He then returned to work as a booking officer until 2017. In late 2017, Butch and Mary Ann moved to Nixa, Missouri.

Butch was preceded in death by his father, Dale Tiffany on October 15, 1984, and his mother, Thelma Tiffany on March 16, 2002.

 He is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann Tiffany of the home, son, Chad Tiffany of Bullhead City AZ, Travis “TJ” Tiffany (Carrah) of Nixa, Missouri, grandchildren Noah Tiffany and Savannah Tiffany, sisters Janet Cook (Dennis) of Bull Head City, AZ and Lori Morgan Bloomington, IL.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Adams Crematory. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
