Lura Olive Daugherty

Lura Olive Daugherty, 91, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Spring Ridge Assisted Living in Springfield. Lura was born on October 15, 1926 in Rogersville, the daughter of John J. and Trease T. (Beal) Burkey. She then married Roy Daugherty, who preceded her in death on September 14, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Paul. A graveside funeral will be held for Lura at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:00am prior to the service.
