Virginia Louise Kingsolver, age 92, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022. She was born August 6, 1930 in Rich Hill, Missouri, the daughter of John Dimuth Moore and Nola Fern (Smith) Moore. At age 13 the family moved to Kansas City, and Louise graduated from Northeast High School. In 1950 she married John Kingsolver, and together they had what was most precious in Louise’s life, her three children.
Above all, Louise loved God and her family. She was especially proud of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed doing artwork, painting and drawing. An animal lover, Louise’s dogs were an important part of her life.
Survivors include: Three children and their spouses, John Kingsolver and Ann of Grain Valley, Missouri, Steven Kingsolver and Pam of Greenwood, Missouri, and Christine Knick and Paul of Ozark, Missouri; grandchildren and their spouses, Miles and Sarah Kingsolver, Travis and Tanit Kingsolver, Jason and Amanda Kingsolver, Steven and Emily Kingsolver, Emily and Brett Rookstool, and Paul Ethan and Mary Catherine Knick; nieces and nephews.
A sister Joan Meng preceded her in death as well as her parents.
A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 27, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Rich Hill, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri.
