Louis Roy Shore

Louis Roy Shore, age 81, of Nixa passed away at his home Thursday, April 9, 2015. Louis was born March 31, 1934, in St. Louis to Roy and Imogene (Rolf) Shore. On April 26, 1952, Louis married Jacklyn Weber, in Pocahontas, AR. Louis joined the U.S. Air Force in 1951, during the Korean War. He was stationed in the Philippines. Louis was an over-the-road truck driver for 35 years. When he retired, he and Jackie moved to Kimberling City, where he worked at Silver Dollar City. Louis and Jackie recently moved to Nixa. Louis is survived by his wife; two sons Jeffrey Shore, and his wife Pamela, of Springfield, and Daniel Shore, and his wife Robin, of St. Louis; four grandchildren Nathaniel, Justin, Nicholas, and Michael; one great-grandchild Alex; two sisters Martha Klebusch, and Dorothy Kinstler; and many nieces and nephews. Louis is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A visitation will be held from 10: 00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, with full military honors.
