Lorene Barnhart

Lorene (Dye) Barnhart, age 87 of Spokane, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011. She was born April 10, 1924 in Chestnut Ridge, Missouri, the daughter of Roy and Verda (Anderson) Dye. She married Herschel Barnhart on March 11, 1944 in Harrison, Arkansas. Lorene taught school for forty two and a half years at Enterprise, Spokane, Reeds Spring, Galena and Abesville. She was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church for her entire life. She was devoted to her church and seldom missed a service. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include: her loving husband of 67 years, Herschel Barnhart; her son, Jeff Barnhart, her sister, Imogene Holt of Reeds Spring. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lola Dye and brother Cleo Dye. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 8, 2011 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Gary Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Schupbach Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 "� 7:00 P.M.
