Lora Rowley Foote passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 in The Baptist Home in Ozark. She was born August 19, 1907 in Fabius, New York, the daughter of Edward and Rena (Corey) Rowley. She was united in marriage to Seward Hall Foote, Jr. who preceded her in death at the age of 58. Mrs. Foote was last employed by the FBI as a Handwriting Analyst in Washington D.C. Mrs. Foote moved from California to Springfield thirteen years ago. Survivors include: two children, Margaret "Peg"� Triplett and husband Clifford, Ozark, Missouri, and Seward Rowley Foote and wife Carole, Hidden Valley Lake, California; six grandchildren, Kristin Lorraine, Kimberly Anne and Seward Bryan Foote, all of San Francisco, California, Pamela Renee Morris, Salem, Oregon, Rodney Alan Triplett, Springfield, Missouri, and Sue Ann Gallagher, Marlborough, Connecticut; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Millard Corey Rowley, Lawrence Rowley, and Marion Snook. Following cremation, a graveside funeral will be held in Union Cemetery, Port Henry, New York, in the spring.
