Lola Mae Lucas, age 77, of Nixa, passed away in her home Saturday, December 24, 2011. She was born January 22, 1934, in Owensville, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Amy (Binkley) Lucas. Lola was a hair dresser. She worked hard and was always willing to do what was needed to help her family. She placed her faith in God, loved her family, and doted over her grandchildren. She was baptized into a Southern Baptist Church and most recently attended a Pentecostal Church. Survivors include: four children, Shirley Van Horn and Kenneth, Ozark, Lorna Secor and Larry Iverson, Springfield, Carla Letterman and David, Sparta, and Jeffery Fullington, Nixa; fourteen grandchildren, Stan Cross, Kenneth Wane Van Horn, Angela Wright, Tommy Van Horn, Amber Hall, Heather Secor, Justin Byerley, Shea Baker, Morgan Fullington, Josh Williams, Adam Byerley, Matthew Garrison, Logan Byerley, and Hannah Letterman; nineteen great-grandchildren; three half-sisters, Mary, Connie, and Mavus; a half-brother, Albert; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, June French and Patricia Nix, and her parents. The father of her children, Darrell Fullington passed away on December 3, 2011 Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 30, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home.
