Lois Jean Hedrick, age 77, passed away after battling cancer, on Thursday, April 19, 2012. She was born to Benjamin L. and Clara S. (Buskirk) Hedrick, February 21, 1935. She was a member of Keystone Baptist Church, at Reeds Spring Junction. Lois was a house keeper for Best Western Knights Inn, in Branson, for many years. She also worked at the Branson Garment Factory until it closed. Lois loved to do all sorts of crafts, especially crocheting. She loved to spend time with her friends at Bingo games, and loved to spend time talking to her best friend, Ann Larson. Her friends and relatives say she is a woman who spoke her mind and had a strong will. Lois is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kaut, and husband Jeff, of Nixa, granddaughter Donis Webb, Willard, and great granddaughter Elaine Fogarty, of Summersworth NH. Lois is also survived by 7 siblings, Grace DeForrest, of Reeds Spring, Loretta Moon, of Sedalia, Benjamin Hedrick, Jr, of Osceola, Paul Hedrick, and wife Janice, of Sedalia, Ruth Odell, and husband Roger, of Kansas City, Barbara Prock, and husband Don, of Kansas City, and Joyce Vanderslice, and husband Chuck, of Montrose, Mo. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Walter (Bud) Hedrick, and four sisters, Ravona Wallace, Leona Sprinkle, Edith Wilson, and Dorothy Jesse. A visitation will be held Monday, April 23, 2012, between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at 10:00 A.M., at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Interment will be at the Versailles Cemetery, in Versailles, Mo, on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at 3:00 P.M.
