Lois M. Hammons

Lois Marie Hammons, age 78, of Ozark passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 in Ozark Riverview Manor. She was born January 31, 1935 to Lora & Cordelia Swearengin in Ongo, MO. She was a longtime member of Ozark First Baptist Church for over 20 years and enjoyed church activities with her Sunday school group. Lois liked traveling with her friend Huba and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Muilenburg and husband Randy, of Ozark, MO; one brother, Orville Swearengin and wife Pauline, of Salem, MO; two granddaughters, Beth Taylor and husband Bret, and Jessica Muilenburg all of Ozark, MO; three great-grandsons, Eli Muilenburg, and Kaiden and Hunter Taylor all of Ozark; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Joe Swearengin and Norman Swearengin. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, MO. with Pastor Jerry Loveland officiating. Visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow the service in Chadwick Cemetery.
