Lisa McCoy Hoffman

Lisa McCoy Hoffman, age 51 of Springfield, passed away on January 15, 2024.  She was born December 27, 1972 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Christopher and Joy (Hart) McCoy.

Lisa earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Missouri State University and worked as a physical therapist for many years in the Springfield area.

Lisa was an athlete who enjoyed running marathons, and CrossFit.  She also enjoyed her time at the lake.  She was the kind of friend you wanted in your corner.  Lisa was a fighter.  She fought through the WODs, she fought for her boys and she fought through her last days.  

Survivors include:  her parents, Chris and Joy McCoy of Nixa; her children, Ethan and Evan Hoffman of Springfield; her brother, Dave McCoy and wife Jessica of Springfield; and her niece and nephews, Brooklyn, Adam, Brennan and Wilder.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.  Cremation rites will follow, by Adams Crematory.  

A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held at CrossFit Provision at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Arc of the Ozarks, an organization Lisa was passionate about.
