Linda K. Downer

Linda Kay Downer, age 77, of Ozark passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 7, 1938 in Springfield, to Tip and Polly (Anderson) Seals. Linda lived in Ozark most of her life and made many friends through the years. She had a warm, loving and fun personality. Linda was happiest when her family was together especially during the Christmas season. She loved antiquing and attending to her flower garden. Some of Linda's best memories were spending time with family at Bull Creek. She loved to watch nature and would sit on her back porch with a beautiful country view. She went on bus trips with friends on weekend get aways. Linda loved cooking for her family during the holidays and playing cards with her grandchildren. Linda loved to have fun and because she never met a stranger, she was never lonely. She will be greatly missed. Linda is survived by her children Grant Downer, of Fayetteville, AR, Brent Downer, of Fayetteville, AR, and a daughter Mart Biles, and husband Joe, of Ft. Worth, TX; 5 grandchildren Blake and wife Kelsey Downer, of Overland Park, KS, Blair Downer, of Argyle, TX, Fletcher Biles, of Ft. Worth, TX, Sydney Biles, of Ft. Worth, TX and Mackenzie Downer of Fayetteville, AR.; niece Tara Seals-Toney, of Hatfield, MA; and many cousins and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Mitch Seals. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Selmore Cemetery, Ozark. A "Celebration of Life" reception will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Market House Caf� and Bakery on the Square, in Ozark. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home, PO Box 356, Fayetteville, AR 72702. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
