Linda W Christensen

Linda W. Christensen, age 68 of Nixa, passed away Thursday March 15, 2012, after battling a long illness. She was born January 15, 1944, in Sentinel, OK, the daughter of Odis and Tressie McWhirter. In July, 1978, she married David Christensen. Linda worked as a travel agent for many years with Great Southern Travel. Linda loved to travel and has traveled all over the world. Linda was an avid reader and loved novels. Linda always had a smile on her face, and always spoke her mind. Linda never knew a stranger, and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include: Her husband David, one son Kavin Krum and wife Stephanie, of Vacaville, CA, one step daughter Anne Christensen, of San Clemente, CA, six sisters, one brother, and six grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 1:00 PM, Adams Funeral Home,Nixa. Cremation is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa
