Libby Garrison

Libby Jo Garrison of Willard, passed quietly after an extended illness on her 71st birthday, December 8, 2020. Libby was born December 8, 1949 in Springfield, the daughter of Lewis and Nellie Diller. She had an older brother Robert and grew up with cousins Freddy and Mark. Gary and Libby were married November 20, 1972 in Springfield. They enjoyed 48 years of marriage with the last 26 years being at their beautiful home in Willard. Libby kept her home and yard beautiful always, and enjoyed landscaping. Both Libby and Gary enjoyed outdoor activities including biking, volleyball, and days at the lake. Playing cards with family was an every weekend event. Libby collected pink depression glass, bells and antique globe lamps. Loving and caring for her husband was her greatest joy in her life. Her parents and older brother, Robert, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband Gary and many family members and friends. Libby will surely be missed by all who knew her. A graveside funeral will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 11, at McCracken Cemetery, between Ozark and Sparta, off Highway JJ, just east of Quarry Road, with Wayne Garrison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
