Letha C. Gibson

Letha C. Gibson, age 103, of Ozark, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014. she was born February 25, 1910, in Chariton, Iowa, to James and Inez (Byerly) Colgon. After graduating high school, she attended business school, and became an executive secretary for the District Attorney. She was united in marriage to James Henry Gibson, in the 1930's. Letha was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years, and was a Grand Worthy Matron. Letha and her husband liked to travel and decided to move to Mission Texas, after visiting there. Letha is survived by a nephew, Jim Smith, and his wife Sharon, of Nixa. Letha is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. there will be a private inurnment at the Shrine of Memories Cemetery, in Ottumwa, Iowa.
