Len Hicks

Leonard James "Len"� Hicks Jr., age 56, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. He was born January 5, 1955 in Kinder, Louisiana, the son of Leonard and Betty (Moore) Hicks. He and Nancy Ann Wade were united in marriage on April 6, 1974. Len was employed as a paramedic for Cox Health Systems. He had served as a flight medic, an ambulance medic, and in the Emergency Room. Survivors include: His wife, Nancy; four sons, Nathan Hicks and wife Heather, Lorton, Virginia, Timothy Hicks and wife Lynsey, Marshfield, Bradley Hicks and wife Amy, Golden, Colorado, and Justin Hicks, Springfield; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Brayden; his parents Leonard and Betty Hicks, Cherokee Village, Arkansas; two sisters, Vicki Ward and husband Danny, Cherokee Village, and Carol Jackson and husband Truman, Thayer; three brothers, Glen Hicks, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Steve Hicks, Cherokee Village, and Danny Hicks and wife Tonya, Vale, Arizona; a half-sister, Patsy Ann, Oakdale, Louisiana; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 21, in New Beginnings Community Church, Ozark, with Pastor Earl Grigory officiating. A graveside funeral will be 3:00 PM Wednesday in Eagles Rest Cemetery, Hardy, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Tuesday in New Beginnings Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
