Lawrence Edwin Baumgardner Lawrence Edwin Baumgardner, age 83, of Sparta, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011. He was born February 27, 1928 in Ava, the son of Earl and Dorothy (Cull) Baumgardner. He was united in marriage to Glenna Bell Romines. Mr. Baumgardner worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Fellowship Lighthouse Church in Bruner. Survivors include: His wife, Glenna; three sons, Vernon Eugene and wife Glendora, Kirbyville, Larry Ray of Sparta, and Roy Allen and wife Donna, Forsyth; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Hamilton, Seattle, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe Baumgardner A graveside funeral with military honors will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 30,2011 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, with Pastor Reggie Mitcham officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
