Lavon Violet Schmidt

LaVon Violet Schmidt, of Nixa, Missouri, born May 9th, 1926,died in her home at 88 years old and left us all on October 22, 2014 to be with her husband of 61 years who passed away June 10th, 2005. Moved from Pine Mountain Lake in 1996, to Ava,Mo. then moved to Nixa to be close to her only daughter/friend, she had lived in many other states,but truly loved Missouri, was born in Nebraska. She was loved by her 4 sons, oldest son Donald Schmidt of Oakdale,Ca. Lee Schmidt, of Modesto,Ca. Dennis Schmidt of San Francisco,Ca. John Schmidt of Modest,Ca. And her baby girl, Hope Lionudakis, Nixa,Missouri- her best friend in life. She was a homemaker most of her life, and loved her family, loved her kitties,Sunny,Snoopy,and Shadow. She will be missed forever and especially by her daughter, who was her buddy and best friend. She had many grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, and great,great grandchildren. She was very close to her one son-in-law, Alan Lionudakis, and there children, Twins Christopher & Michael, and Shaun, who made his visits with her always laughing with his quick humor, and his stories of his being a helicopter pilot. Dearest Mama, as you are looking down from heaven, know how much I miss you and our many memories and fun times, and give Daddy a kiss from his "princess" and I'll see you again someday, till that time God chooses for us, life will never be the same. I miss you Mama, with tears in my eyes, a empty hole in my heart, a sad void in my life -I miss you, Rest in peace-forever, your loving daughter and family.
