Laura Louise Disharoon, age 86, of Nixa, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017. She was born October 27, 1930 in St. Louis, the daughter of Randolph Charles and Lucille Frances Binger. On September 19, 1950 she and Wayne Disharoon were married. They continued to live in St. Louis until they moved to the Table Rock area in 1976.
Laura enjoyed sewing clothes and doll clothes when her daughter was young. She liked to work in her flower garden, and looked forward to traveling. Her grandchildren were very special to her, and they loved her in return. Laura was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Her daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Mark Howerton of Highlandville; three grandchildren, Kellsey Bradley and husband Kyle of Branson, Lindsey Howerton of Branson, and Cole Howerton of Point Lookout; and a sister-in-law, Eleanor Binger of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, and a brother Richard Binger.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Jamie Bilyeu officiating. Burial will follow in Jones-Chastain Cemetery, south of Nixa. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Saturday until service time.
Memorial donations may be made to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
