Larry A. Jackson

Larry A. Jackson of Nixa passed from this life to the next on February 23, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 13, 1936 in Moline, IL to Russell and Lucille Jackson. Larry was a builder/developer and enjoyed building and restoring homes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He was a father to nine children but many called him "dad."� He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Darlene Jackson, sons Chad Jackson, Bradley Jackson (deceased), Jake Jackson, and daughter Jamie Jackson-Cobb, and husband Chris, of Nixa. Sons, Russell Jackson of Roanoke, VA, Dan Jackson and wife Peggy of Rapid City, IA, Andrew Jackson and wife Cindy, of Springfield, John Jackson and wife Carrie of East Moline, IL, and daughter Luann Henderson of Peoria, IL as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters in-laws, and a multitude of friends. A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Adams Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 11:00 A.M, at Highlandville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
