Kyle Thomas Schmidt, age 40 of Ozark, passed away January 19, 2024. He was born June 22, 1983, in Anaheim, California.
Kyle was a master tileman, taking great pride in creating meticulous tile work. He worked for Roza Construction.
Kyle loved to float on the river. He spent his free time watching sports, and was a San Francisco 49ers fan. He enjoyed drinking beer with the people he loved. Kyle didn't know a stranger. He had a contagious smile and laughter. Kyle was loyal to his family and to those he loved and cared about. He was known to his nieces and nephews as the “fun uncle” who gave them all nicknames. Kyle was known for his delicious deep fried turkeys on Thanksgiving.
Survivors include: his mother, Mary Jo Schmidt; his siblings, Kelsey Gonazales and husband Mario, Michelle Abell and Kimberly Greig; his aunts and uncles, Jeff and Pam Rarey and Don and Nancy Beaman; his cousins, Scott Samson (Denise), Stacy Bachynski (Ray), Mike Beaman and William Wright; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Kyle's dogs were his “children” - Scooby Doo, Lily and Bentley.
Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Rob Moody; and his grandparents, Graydon and Nina Schmidt.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Dr. Wade Bridges officiating. Visitation will be from 1-1:30 p.m. immediately before the service at the funeral home.
