Kimberly Kay Teegardin Whipple, passed from this life too soon on September 11, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri.
Kim was born on May 22, 1960 in Springfield, Missouri to Robert G. and Carolyn S. Teegardin. She worked as a Power Operations Clerk at Southwestern Power Administration for 17 years. Her past work history also included Aaron's Automotive and Zenith Electronics. Her commitment to her jobs and work ethic were impeccable. Her "can do" attitude was an asset to all. She accomplished earning an Associates Degree in Business, graduating with Honors. She graduated from Central High School in 1977.
Her sweet spirit and loving generous nature was experienced by all who crossed her path. Memories of her creativity and gentle soul are remembered by all she touched. Kim was a proud and loving mother, a loving and loyal daughter, a wonderful sister and great friend to her extended family and friends. She was admired and loved by many. Her passion for animals and nature knew no bounds. Kim loved to hike in the woods, sleep on an ocean beach and jump in the car with her love, Charlie to go everywhere they imagined such as the Grand Canyon and her last trip to see and experience the Wild Ponies at Chincoteague Island of Virginia. She was as comfortable in a pair of hiking boots and jeans as she was wearing high fashion. Her soul was beautiful to behold and her innner light shone bright and far. Her sense of humor and free spirit were magnetic and fun to be around. She will be so very missed by all who knew her and especially by those who loved her.
She is survived by her son, Zachariah Nusse, her parents Robert and Carolyn Teegardin, her sister, Melody Teegardin Anderson, niece Vivian Conway and her husband David, her special love and companion Charlie Skinner, several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins . Also dear to Kim was her special friend Jamie McNiel. A special mention to her fur-baby pack and companions, Lucille, Memphis and Gibson, she loved them so.
A Celebration of Life Service for Kimberly Whipple will be held on October 6 th, 2018 , at 1:00 o'clock p.m. ; in The Mansion at Elfindale Chapel, 1701 South Fort Ave, Springfield, Missouri.
