Kevin Scott Pruitt

Kevin Scott Pruitt, age 54, of Nixa, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. He was born November 15, 1961 in Springfield to Joe B. and Helen (Latty) Pruitt. Kevin was an H-Vac Technician and could do everything. He was the kindest person and never knew a stranger. Kevin would help anyone in need whether or not he knew you. He loved going Sucker grabbing with family and friends and it was a family tradition. Kevin enjoyed nature, especially the river. He had an interest in reptiles and would sometimes play jokes on people with them. Kevin loved to have fun. Kevin is survived by his sons Thomas Pruitt and Cary Pruitt, both of Nixa; two brothers Joe K. Pruitt, his wife Rhona, of Nixa, and Kim Pruitt, his wife Suzi, of Nixa; his mother Helen Pruitt, of Nixa; and maternal grandmother Ruth Latty; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and friends. Kevin is preceded in death by his father; and a nephew Christopher Pruitt; maternal grandfather Paul Latty; and paternal grandparents James and Emma Pruitt. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
