Kenny Jenkins

Kenneth Ray Jenkins, age 70, of Sparta, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. He was born January 9, 1944 in Chadwick. Kenny was raised by his grandparents, Ring and Bessie Loomis. He was a 1962 graduate of Chadwick High School. Kenny was a mechanic throughout his life, serving friends in Sparta through Sparta Auto Repair and Jenkins Service Station. He enjoyed building race cars, gardening and telling "tall tales". He and Jalana Fish were married June 3, 1974. Survivors include: His wife, Jalana; a son, Keith "Bub" Jenkins and wife Debbie of Sparta; grandchildren, Kelsey Jenkins, Brad Jenkins, and Nicole Jenkins; two great-granddaughters, Lilly and Kylie; his mother-in-law, Wilma; brother-in-law, Randy; and nephews, James, Donnie and Matthew. Kenny was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Preston Jenkins; his grandparents, Ring and Bessie Loomis; and father-in-law, Charles Fish.. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 27, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor John Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Chadwick Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
