Kenneth Dale Scott

Kenneth Dale Scott, age 64, of Nixa, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014. He was born December 5, 1949 in Waynesville, Missouri, the son of Lionel Bruce and Georgianne Mary (Adkins) Scott. He served his country in U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. In 1994 he and Shirley Ann Winkeler were married. Ken was a member of Nixa Christian Church. He retired in 2012 from Missouri State University as a public safety officer. Ken had been a police officer in Rolla and Jefferson City, and also worked for the Department of Corrections in Jefferson City. Survivors include his wife, Shirley, and a son, Alex Scott, both of Nixa. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Mae Norwood, and his parents. A visitation will be held at a later date at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa.
