Lt. Colonel Kenneth G. Emery Sr., age 102, entered his heavenly home on September 26, 2015 in Ozark Nursing and Care Center, Ozark, MO. He was born August 29, 1913 in Racine, WI, to Charles R. and Elizabeth Emery.
Kenneth was united in marriage to Doris M. Kershaw June 21, 1941 and they had two children. He was in the military 36 years serving in WWII and the Korean War.
Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents, his brother, Charles R. Emery Jr., and a great-granddaughter, Grace Renee Worthley.
Those surviving include his children: Adeline Worthley and her husband, Alvin, of Ozark; Kenneth G. Emery Jr. and his wife, Leeann of Milton, VT; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and his sister, Mildred Bates of Dearborn, MI.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Sunday, October 4, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 5, in Adams Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will follow the service on Monday in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the National Royal Ranger Program for boys and young men.
