Ken W. Reynolds, 85 of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 12:15 am. Ken was born in Sparta, Missouri on April 23, 1927 to Wyley Wayne and Etta Nevada (Johnson) Reynolds. Ken entered the Army on June 29, 1945. He was in the Infantry and served as a driver for his commanding officer during World War II. Ken was married to Imogene Rice on June 10, 1947; they were married for 44 wonderful, loving years. Ken worked as a salesman most of his life, selling sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, and cars. He was well known and respected for his charisma and friendly demeanor, known by many as Ken "Full-Time"� Reynolds. In the later years of his life he worked for a local grocery stores because he loved being around people. He was known as the "Candy Man"� because he always carried candy in his pocket for the kids. Ken"�s life was a testimony to his Lord and Savior, witnessing to all. In the words of his grandson, Ken was "a man who"�s faith, I never saw waiver, no matter the circumstance"�. His daughter likened him to a modern day Job. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Wyley and Etta; his wife Imogene; his brothers Earl, Arlie and Denzil. Ken is survived in death by his daughter Barbara Ramsey and her husband Bill; daughter Joyce Flatt; son Dan Reynolds and his wife BJ; his grandchildren Billy Ramsey and wife Tina; Brian Ramsey and wife Cindy; Brad Norman and wife Ashley; Blain Ramsey and wife Melissa, and his great-grandchildren Tori, Derek, Brittany, Bradley, Abigayle, Bryce, Bailey, Austin, Emma, Lucy, Jake and many nieces and nephews. Ken will be laid to rest next to his wife Imogene, at Vaughn-Oddfellow Cemetery in Ozark, Missouri. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark. A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 18, 2013 also at the funeral home.
