Kayla Maloney

Kayla Maloney, age 67, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on September19, 2024 Born on April 16, 1957, in Springfield, she was the beloved daughter of Lycurgus "Tobe" and Ina White.

Kayla is survived by her son, Michael Maloney and his partner, Kate of Nixa; her long-time partner of 20 years, Greg Davis, also of Nixa; her brother, Hal White of Nixa; and her ex-husband and friend, Mike Maloney, Sr. of Ozark. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judy Roy.

Throughout her life, Kayla found joy in numerous activities. She had a passion for sewing and cooking, and her talent for baking cakes brought delight to many. For many years, she worked as a cook at SCORE school in Nixa School District. In her earlier years, Kayla enjoyed square dancing and playing the piano, which were cherished pastimes that reflected her vibrant spirit.

A funeral service will be held to honor Kayla's life on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa, with Pastor Dale Roller officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects during visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., just prior to the service.

Kayla will be remembered for her warmth and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
