Kathy McFarland

Kathy Luanne (Carter) McFarland daughter of the late R. Waco and Delphia Carter was born May 8th 1952 in West Plains, Missouri. She entered into eternal rest September 12th 2018 at the age of 66 in Springfield, Missouri. She grew up in Bakersfield/Gainesville, Missouri on her family's farm. Sometime after graduating high school she moved to Mtn. Home, Arkansas. She worked as a florist and did interior design for over 25 years. In 1991 she married the love of her life Jerry McFarland and moved to Ozark, Missouri where she ran their contracting business. She enjoyed spending time on the lake, painting, playing games with the grandchildren, trips to the casino and a host of other activities. She was a stunningly beautiful lady and a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Kathy will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving devoted husband Jerry McFarland, of Ozark, Missouri, her daughter and husband Brandy & Marty Hamm, of Ozark, Missouri, her son and his wife, Aaron & Jessica Clark, of Sparta, Missouri, step son and his wife, Brian & Cindy McFarland, of Lowell, Arkansas, Stepdaughter and her wife, Deanna & Jessica Rose, of Flippen, Arkansas. Her Grandchildren, Chase & his wife Lisa Allen, Brendan McFarland, Taylor Harrington, Kyra McFarland, Jordan Allen, Corey Rose, Logan Clark, and four great-grandchildren. Her brother and his wife Waco Jr. & Monika Carter. Her niece and her husband Kristin & Karim Najdi, and Her nephew Tobias Carter. Her dear Best Friend Connie Simpson. Cousin Myra Sasseen and several other cousins. She will be having a celebration of life ceremony from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 30, at The Center, 516 County Road 800, Gainesville, MO 65655. Cremation was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
