Kathy Brooks

June Kathleen "Kathy" Brooks, age 70, of Ozark, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017. She was born June 14, 1947. June enjoyed nature and gardening, shopping and music. She and Melvin Brooks Sr. were married April 2, 2000. Kathy worked alongside her husband at Brooks Plastering. Her husband preceded her in death in 2015. A daughter, Karyn Stiltner preceded Kathy in death in 2016. Survivors include: two granddaughters, Alisyn Rea of Ozark, and Brandi Tommis of Branson; a step-son, Melvin Brooks Jr. of Ozark; a step-daughter, Debbie Duckworth of Ozark; and step-grandchildren, Kevin and Kyle Duckworth. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 30, in Messiah Lutheran Church, 925 East Seminole, Springfield. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
