MARY KATHRYN CREACH
12-17-1991 - 12-30-2017
"The Princess is here!", she announced as she walked through our door recently. Unfortunately, the Princess has left the building. She went to heaven to join God and the angels on December 30, 2017. Kathryn Creach, aka "Kappy" or "Kat", was born December 17, 1991 to Michael K. Creach and Lisa Williams in Neptune, New Jersey, hence another nickname, "Kathryn of Neptune".
Kathryn accomplished so much in her short time on this earth. She excelled in sports, particularly track and swimming. She was a natural with horses. She also loved dogs, birds and kitties. They would follow her home and she would re-home them to live with her Mommy, stepdad Dan and sissy Courtney. She recently attended Ozark Technical College and completed her first year by making the Dean's List and earning membership to Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. She had a passion for working out, weight lifting and "ride biking" as she called bike riding when she was little, and she recently successfully competed in a triathlon.
She attended Nixa High School, and we have it from a fairly legitimate source that she could out-bench press all the guys in her weight lifting class. She recently jumped out of a perfectly good airplane for a sky dive - why? she was a thrill seeker - then went to the posh Ocean Zen Restaurant for a glass of wine and some yummy food with Mommy.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her father, Michael K. Creach; her maternal grandfather, George E. Williams; and her aunt, Libby Williams. She is survived by her mommy, Lisa Williams Robbins; her loving stepfather, Dan Robbins; her sister, Courtney Whitaker, her half-sister Elizabeth Black, her grandmother, June Williams; cousins Grant Livingston and Garrett Livingston; her very best friend in the whole world (and partner in crime), Jessica Lamb Stillings; and her four legged babies - Pup, Jackson, Kizer, Boo Boo, and Kitty Meow Meow.
We love you, Kappy. We will get through this, but we'll never get over it.
Memorial contributions may be made in Kathryn's name to the Missouri State Equine Studies, William H. Darr College of Agriculture, 901 S. National Ave. Springfield, MO 65897
A Celebration Service of Kathryn's life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 13th at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2441 South Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO 65804.
