Karen Elaine Blackmore

Karen Elaine Blackmore, age 80, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022.

Karen was born on April 27, 1942, in Lamar, Missouri to the late Walter and Lucile (Throckmorton) Blackmore. Karen was a believer in Jesus Christ and was an active member at Westside Christian Church in Republic. She enjoyed Christian romance and game shows. Most of all, Karen loved her nieces and nephews. She was interested in their likes, and if they told her a show they loved, she would make sure to record the show for them to watch in case they missed an episode.

Karen worked for many years with Wells Fargo, working as a banker and loan officer.

She was preceded by her parents and nephew Terry. She is survived by her two sisters, Bonnie Blackmore and Darlene Blackmore, three brothers, Philip Blackmore and wife Nona, Richard Blackmore and wife Louise, and Randall Blackmore and wife Elizabeth, beloved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, Ken and his son Timothy, niece in law Sue and daughter Kaylyn, Ron and wife LeAnne and children Spencer and Averie, Christina and husband Christopher, Ryan and wife Kate and daughter Lucy, Brandon and former wife Ashley and their children Benjamin, Calvin, and Natalie, nieces Katie and Emily, nephews Andrew, Stacy, and Christian.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation rites are accorded with Adams Crematory.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
