Juanita Delores Maggard, age 81, of Chadwick, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012. She was born April 27, 1931, in Garrison, the second of 14 children of Oren and Opal (Stevens) Jones. On May 20, 1947, she and Roy Lee Maggard were united in marriage. During her career Juanita worked for a garment factory in Kansas City, was a caf� waitress and manager, worked in home health and forestry. Most of all she cared for her family as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Juanita was a member of Union Church in Chadwick. She was also member of VFW Post 6401 Ladies Auxiliary of Bonner Springs, Kansas. Survivors include: four children and their spouses, Larry and Trudy Maggard, Karen and Larry Hollenbeck, Harold and Judy Maggard, and Keith and Pam Maggard; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; six brothers and sisters, Russ Jones, Shirley Jones, Jewell Lee, Sue Rozell, Norma Dean Davis, and Phyllis Knight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, on May 26, 2008. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Harold Jones, Ron Jones, Wilda Faye Walker, Wanda Jones, and three infants including Doyle and Loyal Jones. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 26 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Tom Sisco officiating. Burial will follow in Patterson Cemetery, Bradleyville. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Monday in the funeral home.
