Juanita Blevins

Juanita Rae Blevins, age 78 of Nixa, passed away December 24, 2021. She was born June 11, 1943 in Ava, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph and Nita (Ludwig) Bristol.

On March 24, 1967 Juanita was united in marriage to Roger Blevins.

Juanita was a hairdresser for many years. She also worked concessions at The Baldknobbers show for 27 years. Juanita enjoyed going to casinos, Cardinals baseball and Bears and Lady Bears basketball. She loved passing the time doing word searches. Juanita was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Roger Blevins of Nixa; children, Kim Herd and husband Mark of Fair Grove, R.D. Blevins and wife Ronda of Buffalo, Cathy Krtek and husband Karl of Nixa and Brian Blevins and wife Carol of Springfield; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two brothers, Tom Bristol and wife Charlotte of Springfield and Kevin Bristol of Springfield.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Jamie Bilyeu officiating. Burial will follow at Glenn Cemetery, Nixa. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. The family prefers anyone in attendance to wear a mask.
