Joyce Lee

Joyce Lee, age 89 of Nixa, passed away September 10, 2021. She was born November 19, 1931 in Evans, Missouri, the daughter of Lee and Opal (Elliott) Evans. On May 12, 1952, Joyce was united in marriage to Willie John “Bill” Lee. They were married 61 years before Bill preceded her in death on May 29, 2013. Joyce owned and operated Joyce’s Restaurant in Nixa in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s. She loved baking. Joyce also baked pies for Gateway Café in Spokane. Her cream pies and cinnamon rolls were favorites. Survivors include: her son, Randy Lee of Nixa; grandchildren, Brad Scrivner and wife Ezmerelda of Brownsville, Texas and Dax Rozell and wife Jenn of Columbia, Missouri; great grandchildren, Bradford, Melissa, Alaina and Ruger. In addition to her husband, Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Elaine Cockrum. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M.. Monday, September 13, 2021 at Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Reverend Gary Jennings officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 P.M., Monday, September 13, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
