Joshua (Josh) Lee Woods

Joshua (Josh) Lee Woods, age 25, of Nixa passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was born November 2, 1994 in Kansas City, Missouri to Roy and Dorothy (Henderson) Woods. Josh liked the Kansas City Chiefs, playing baseball for the Springfield Metro Baseball League, playing the drums and skateboarding. Josh was the life of the party and always had a smile on his face. He was a loving and giving person. One time he bought a bouquet of flowers and went to Walmart to give every girl who walked by a flower. He loved making people happy. Josh attended the First Central Baptist Church in Highlandville. Josh loved God and it was evident the way he lived his life. Survivors include his parents Roy Lee Woods and Dorothy Kay Woods; siblings Amanda Woods, James Woods, and Tina Whitmore; a brother-in-law Donald Bishop; three nephews Donald Bishop, Jr. Joseph Bishop, and Joshua Bishop; and many other relatives and friends. Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents Ethel and Leslie Woods, Woodrow Henderson and Kathleen Boone. A visitation will be held from Noon to 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
