Joshua Ray Johns

Joshua Ray Johns was born on July 10, 1986 in Springfield, the son of Cyndy Garner. He attended Spokane School while living in Highlandville with his parents, Cyndy and Rob Garner. Joshua worked in landscaping before going to work at Knight HVAC where he was employed. On July 27, 2019, Joshua and Nikohl Young were united in marriage. They remained living in Highlandville. On August 7, 2020, Josh passed away at home after a year long battle with cancer. Josh was an active member of the Healing River Worshipping Center in Walnut Shade. He enjoyed golf, video games, riding his four wheeler and caring for his cats. He is survived by his wife, Nikohl Johns, of the home; his mother, Cyndy of Highlandville; his father, Rob Garner of Ozark; a brother, Jeff Rogers of Sparta; a sister, Jessica Garner of Jefferson City; a grandmother, Kay Applegate of Ozark; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Josh was preceded in death by a brother, Jeremiah Rogers and his other grandparents. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 15, 2020 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Tim Snider officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Hill Cemetery, Bruner. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday, August 14, 2020 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
